I suggest researching for a MMA school in your area that promotes competition. Once you have competed and won enough bouts you might get sponsored. Promoters are always looking for new fighters.

FIND A MMA TEAM IN YOUR LOCAL NIEGHBORHOOD OR IF U CAN’T DO THAT FIND OUT IF THERE ARE ANY MMA FIGHTS IN YOUR AREA AND ASK THEM WHAT TEAMS ARE FIGHTING AND ASK THEM IF THEY CAN GIVE YOU THEIR COACHES NUMBER AND INTRODUCE YOURSELF AND EXPLAIN TO THEM THAT U ARE INTERESTED AND THEY SHOULD TELL YOU TO DROP BY AND THEN THEY’LL DECIDE IF U SHOULD STAY OR NOT

I would contact any promoters that put on fight cards and give them your name, phone number, and e-mail address. They are usually looking for amateurs as well as pros and might give you a shot. At the same time you might also want to check what the license requirements are for your state for fighters. Some states have really upped their requirements for this and things like a blood test for HIV and Hepatitis B and C, a recent physical by a doctor for fighting certifying you are healthy enough to fight, and a small fee for your license are now what some states require. Along with this you might want to consider joining a gym or school that trains fighters. They are usually plugged into all this and network with promoters for guys to get fights.
