spdrmnky asked: I would like to open up a business in my town. A mixed martial arts business… where I would not teach or train, but run the business. I would like to hire a few different people to teach classes in different arts/techniques. Any ideas would be helpful.
to further explain myself… I hold a 3rd degree black belt in ju jitzu and have studied various forms, to include karate, gung fu, tai kick boxing, and jeet kun do.

hire a ground and start your schools. put ads on the newspaper and internet, and start your business.
Permits, license, bonding, a facility for classes, and insurance to cover the students.
Personally, I don’t think it’s wise to run a martial arts business and not be trained in the actual arts. How would you know if the instructors were teaching the correct techniques? It requires a heck of a lot more than signing the students in and out and handling the money. You can forget making “easy money” without doing anything to earn it.
